Job description
Role overview
In this role, you support customers in the ironmongery and tools department, turning shopping into a positive and helpful experience through your product knowledge and consultative approach. You will be based on the sales floor, where you actively assist customers with questions about products and services.
What you will do
- Provide knowledgeable advice to customers on products and services in the department.
- Stay present on the shop floor and offer hands-on support during the buying process.
- Take care of product presentation and correct placement of merchandise.
- Work with your team to make sure customers find everything they need and the store runs smoothly.
What the employer is looking for
- Previous sales experience is helpful, but applicants changing careers are also welcome.
- Trained tradespeople such as locksmiths, toolmakers, and similar profiles with an interest in sales have strong entry opportunities.
- You should advise customers with empathy, enthusiasm, and commitment.
- A hands-on attitude and a strong focus on customer satisfaction are important.

Working conditions
This is a full-time position with 37.5 hours per week. The start date is immediate or by mutual agreement.
