Mill Hand - Riverina Feedlot (7-on / 7-off Roster)

Role Overview

JBS Riverina Feedlot invites applications for a full-time Mill Hand role. This position is vital to ensuring the consistent production of premium cattle feed through the operation and maintenance of feed mill machinery. Responsibilities include handling and mixing ingredients to produce quality rations and supporting the daily functions of the feed mill. The role requires close collaboration with the feedlot team to guarantee livestock receive nutritious and reliable feed supply with a key focus on safety, equipment upkeep, and productivity.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Work 7 days on followed by 7 days off based on a Tuesday to Monday roster
• Shift timings run from 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Hourly wage is $32 with additional opportunities for overtime during scheduled days off

Candidate Profile

• Previous exposure to agriculture, feedlot operations, grain handling, manufacturing, or similar operational sectors
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive and practical approach
• Mechanical aptitude with proven ability to safely operate machinery
• Committed to maintaining safety standards, quality control, and meticulous process adherence
• Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
• Dependable, punctual, and eager to expand skill sets
• Physically resilient to demanding tasks and variable weather conditions
• Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory
• Experience operating loaders, telehandlers, or other mobile equipment will be viewed favorably
• Basic proficiency with computers
