Warehouse Officer (Storeperson) - Hail Creek

Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Officer to support daily warehousing activities at a leading mining site in Hail Creek, Australia's prominent coal, cobalt, zinc, nickel, and copper producer. This role involves inventory control, forklift operation, and accurate data management in SAP, ensuring smooth material handling for mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and manage inventory and consumables within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts (HRW LF license mandatory) to move and store materials efficiently.
• Process orders, goods receipting, and stock transactions accurately using SAP software.
• Perform daily warehouse inspections and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Assist with stocktakes, cycle counting, and audit activities to ensure inventory accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess current Coal Board Medical Section 4 and Standard 11 certifications.
• Hold a current driver's license and provide an updated resume.
• Clearance to pass a drug and alcohol screening as well as a pre-employment medical examination.
• Hold a High Risk Work Forklift License (LF) is essential.
• Experience with SAP systems is highly preferable.
• At least two years of warehousing experience in industrial or mining environments.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Rostered 7 days on, 7 days off, working 12.5-hour day and night shifts supporting a balanced lifestyle.
