Job description
About the Company
LinkedIn is the largest professional networking platform in the world, designed to open up economic opportunity for workers everywhere. Its products are built to help people create meaningful connections, find new career possibilities, develop valuable skills, and access useful insights. The company also invests heavily in its employees’ development and aims to foster a workplace rooted in trust, care, inclusion, and enjoyment.
The role may be based in New York, San Francisco, or Chicago. The working model is hybrid, so the position involves a mix of remote work and in-office time based on team and business requirements.
Role Overview
The organization is seeking a Talent Solutions Account Executive to help identify client opportunities and drive new revenue. The role involves handling inbound leads while also pursuing outbound opportunities across the assigned territory. You will approach target organizations strategically, recommend the right technology solutions, and sell recruitment-related corporate offerings. Success is expected to be quota-driven, while still prioritizing the client’s best interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a strong sales pipeline through persistent prospecting and meaningful relationships with potential clients.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and keep leadership fully informed about pipeline health.
- Consistently win new business at or above assigned targets.
- Design and carry out a territory strategy, while capturing and sharing competitor intelligence.
- Support teammates through coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing whenever improvement opportunities arise.
- Help establish and spread effective practices that can serve as the team’s operating foundation.
- Bring market feedback to product and marketing teams so their work reflects customer needs.
- Take initiative in solving problems, including issues outside your immediate scope, and step up for new responsibilities as they emerge.
- Look for chances to lead and contribute to the company’s broader business goals.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have at least 4 years of relevant sales experience.
Preferred background includes experience with recruiting, recruitment media, and HR software; SaaS sales and Salesforce.com; and selling IT or recruiting solutions. Familiarity with software contract terms, negotiation, and accurate forecasting is also valuable. The role favors candidates who can close complex business deals in a highly competitive, advocacy-driven sales environment, use data to evaluate opportunities and influence stakeholders, and manage multiple prospect conversations at the same time.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $131,000 to $188,000. Final compensation depends on factors such as experience, skill set, certifications, and location. The overall package may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits, and other incentive compensation.
