Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid-level Calypso Business Analyst to join our team on a hybrid basis in Dublin. This role involves collaborating at the intersection of business and technology to support global financial clients in implementing Calypso systems focused on collateral and liquidity management. This consulting-focused position requires partner engagement, requirement gathering, and delivering strategic improvements for clearing operations and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead change initiatives for Calypso-based collateral and liquidity platforms.
- Engage with client stakeholders to collect, verify, and document business requirements.
- Convert user stories into detailed functional specifications for development and QA teams.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from analysis through implementation and validation.
- Create and conduct User Acceptance Testing and regression tests.
- Host workshops involving front, middle, and back-office teams to refine processes.
- Provide detailed functional clarifications to development teams as needed.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and market-driven changes impacting operations.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Business Analyst working with Calypso platforms.
- Strong knowledge of derivative products and trade lifecycle management.
- In-depth understanding of collateral lifecycle and clearing workflows.
- Experience working within Agile or hybrid project frameworks, proficient with tools such as JIRA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive requirements documentation and test cases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing tri-party collateral arrangements and optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with clearing house processes and settlement operations.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like EMIR and Dodd-Frank reporting requirements.
- Background in consulting for capital markets technology transformations is advantageous.
