Team Overview
The Singapore Commercial team plays a pivotal role in expanding Grab's offerings by shaping strategies that support the community and rapidly grow F&B business accounts within GrabFood.
Role Overview
Based at One North office and reporting to the Head of Commercial, Food & Strategic Planning, the Merchant Account Manager's focus is strengthening and expanding merchant relationships to increase sales and service integration across Grab's platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with current and prospective food and beverage merchants to catalyze growth on GrabFood.
- Handle a portfolio of accounts emphasizing profitability, total gross merchandise value (GMV), and delivery volume improvements.
- Formulate and implement business growth strategies tailored to merchant sales expansion and cross-vertical collaboration including GrabPay, GrabAds, and GrabExpress.
- Interpret merchant performance analytics to devise data-driven, actionable strategies enhancing revenue and growth.
- Respond to merchant feedback proactively, resolving issues to uphold operational standards through customized solutions and routine business assessments.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to provide merchants with detailed reporting, marketing aid, and enhancements to products.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years' experience in account management or business development roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis with the capability to generate and execute strategic insights.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to coordinate with multiple teams to customize merchant solutions.
