This position focuses on aiding individuals living with dual disabilities and mental health challenges, with an emphasis on fostering personal growth and self-determination through collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with clients' daily living activities promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while providing support.
- Facilitate clients' personal hygiene and dressing needs.
- Manage home-based tasks including shopping.
- Coordinate diverse social activities to enhance client engagement.
- Offer emotional support tailored to individuals' needs.
- Adhere strictly to Child Safe Standards in all interactions.
- Communicate clearly, inclusively, respectfully, and adapt communication styles to suit individual preferences.
- Build trust-based relationships respecting clients' rights and dignity.
- Maintain participant and worker rights and prioritize the participant's voice.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders involved.
- Recognize and celebrate client strengths to encourage empowerment.
- Observe situations attentively and respond with flexibility.
