Role Summary
Reporting to the Parts Manager, this role encompasses supporting parts operations, sales, and distribution. Responsibilities include overseeing daily functions such as ordering, receiving, packaging shipments, and ensuring prompt fulfillment of sales and orders.
The position requires flexibility to work Saturday mornings during harvest season and availability for a fortnightly on-call schedule. Outside the harvest period, the standard workweek is Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact point for product inquiries and manage customer expectations on part pricing and availability
- Ensure timely processing of daily parts operations including sales, managing back and forward orders, stock transfers, and distribution tasks
- Maintain accurate inventory control and uphold cleanliness and organization of the parts department shelving
- Stay updated on new products, modifications, enhancements, and discontinued parts
- Handle invoice data entry and raise purchase orders, ensuring prompt completion of purchasing, sales receipts, and credit processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Candidate Profile
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills for efficient task execution
- Experience working with parts or inventory management systems
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service and demonstrating a solid work ethic
- Capable team player who can also operate independently
- Proficient user of Office 365 and general computer applications
