About the Position
Join Universitätsklinikum Würzburg as a part-time radiology technician where you will perform independent dental and conventional radiological examinations including dental films, OPG, DVT as well as thorax, NNH, panorama, and skull images. Your role includes proper patient preparation, positioning, and care throughout the procedures while ensuring all radiation protection regulations and safety standards are strictly followed. Collaboration with physicians and the practice team is essential to achieve the best diagnostic results.
Responsibilities
- Conducting radiological procedures independently in dental and conventional radiology.
- Preparing and positioning patients correctly for various imaging techniques.
- Adhering to radiation safety guidelines to guarantee patient and staff protection.
- Working closely with medical staff to ensure optimal diagnostic quality and workflow.
Qualification Requirements
- Completed education as a Medical Technical Radiology Assistant (MTRA) or Dental Assistant (ZFA) with a valid X-ray license.
- Solid knowledge of radiation protection principles and practical experience with DVT, OPG, and conventional X-ray imaging is preferred.
- Proficiency in digital documentation systems, SAP software, and MS Office applications.
- High sense of responsibility regarding radiation safety and patient care.
- Structured, independent, and thorough working style.
- Strong teamwork ability, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for direct patient interaction.
