Job description
About the Team
Global Business Marketing (GBM) at TikTok is moving through a major transition. As the organisation shifts from building brand awareness to delivering measurable business growth, the approach to analysing, interpreting, and acting on marketing results must evolve too. This role is central to that change.
About the Role
We are seeking an early-career analyst with strong interest in media and marketing, a curiosity for how channels perform, and a genuine focus on measurement. The ideal person can connect campaign and performance data to meaningful commercial results.
This is a marketing intelligence position, not a data engineering or technical development role. It calls for someone eager to learn media measurement, confident handling data, and able to explain insights clearly. You will work with experienced leaders and cross-functional partners while developing deep expertise in how a global marketing team tracks and improves impact.
Key Responsibilities
Own the daily analysis of GBM performance across global and regional marketing efforts, identifying patterns and trends that inform better planning and investment choices.
Assist in analysis that looks beyond surface-level output metrics and links media spend and campaign activity to commercial outcomes.
Support the creation of media attribution approaches that can handle GBM's complex multi-channel, multi-market structure.
Turn performance data into actionable intelligence that helps the team decide where to invest and what to prioritise.
Develop an understanding of regional business priorities and convert regional performance findings into inputs for global planning.
Help ensure annual plans, quarterly OKRs, and campaign objectives are shaped by actual data rather than assumptions alone.
Support the upkeep of measurement frameworks so that KPIs, reporting rhythms, and performance expectations stay consistent across hub and regional teams.
Partner with MarTech to maintain dashboards and reporting tools that give leaders clear visibility into channel and campaign performance against business goals.
Standardise how media and marketing results are reported across GBM so the team uses a consistent definition of performance and success.
Collaborate with regional S&O leads, finance, MarTech, and GBM hub teams to make sure insights and data move to the right stakeholders at the right time.
Help prepare QBR materials, leadership presentations, and strategic planning documents by providing clean, structured analytical input.
Act as a dependable analytical partner to GBM leadership on workstreams that require stronger media and marketing rigour.
Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in media planning, marketing analytics, campaign performance, marketing operations, or a related area; agency, brand-side, and consulting backgrounds are all acceptable.
Strong analytical ability, with comfort in working through data, creating basic frameworks, and turning numbers into a clear narrative.
Advanced SQL ability, including the capacity to independently explore, transform, and check data. Python knowledge for deeper analysis is expected. Experience with A/B testing and experimental design is required.
Ability to create visualisations and reports using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.
Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle several priorities and deadlines reliably.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings in a way that others can quickly understand and use.
Preferred Profile
Strong interest in how media and marketing channels work and how their impact can be measured.
A commercially minded approach that focuses on outcomes rather than only outputs.
Exposure to, or interest in, B2B marketing environments or commercial go-to-market models.
Familiarity with OKR structures, planning cycles, or reporting workflows.
Some introductory exposure to media attribution or marketing performance measurement.
Experience working across multiple markets or cultures, or a keen interest in doing so.
