About Amazon MGM Studios
Amazon MGM Studios serves as a creative hub for producing and acquiring original films and television series for a worldwide audience. The studio focuses on releasing original movies both theatrically and exclusively on Prime Video.
Role Summary
The Media Coordinator will be an integral member of the expanding Amazon MGM Studios Theatrical Media team. This position supports the execution of media plans, workflow management, and the creation of impactful presentations. Ideal candidates have a background in media planning and investments, are adaptable in a dynamic environment, and possess a strong desire to develop professionally.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting film campaign strategies from high-level objectives through to granular plan implementation.
- Maintain and update media summaries tailored for internal stakeholders, leadership, and filmmakers.
- Oversee insertion orders (IOs) and manage invoicing processes.
- Contribute to the construction of presentation decks to support marketing efforts.
- Coordinate deadlines and critical dates by developing detailed calendars and documents to guide various marketing teams.
- Ensure precision in plan development by cross-verifying all updated information and documentation.
- Help manage the creative rotation strategy by keeping track of the pipeline of linear and digital assets.
- Provide support to senior media team members across various functions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional marketing experience beyond internships.
- Proficiency with Excel or Tableau, including data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a prominent brand or within the entertainment sector, especially in project or production management roles.
- Prior involvement in the entertainment industry.
