About the Role

District 4 Labs seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our vibrant team. Directly reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role encompasses hands-on involvement in digital marketing, graphic design, social media management, and event support. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their marketing career to gain broad experience and contribute meaningfully in a mission-driven, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing email campaigns covering various stages of the customer journey.
  • Help with segmentation of email lists, scheduling sends, and monitoring campaign performance metrics.
  • Maintain and update email templates to ensure consistent branding across communications.
  • Design visual assets aligned with brand guidelines for digital platforms such as social media, website, and email campaigns.
  • Support creation of design materials for marketing campaigns, presentations, and event collateral.
  • Contribute to refining and updating brand standards over time.
  • Assist in content creation, scheduling, and publishing on various social media channels.
  • Track social media engagement and prepare basic performance reports.
  • Stay informed about social media trends and suggest relevant content ideas.
  • Provide event coordination support for virtual and physical events including webinars, trade shows, and field activities with occasional travel required.
  • Handle logistics related to events and assist with communication before and after events, promotional asset development, and participant tracking.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project tracking documents, and organized asset repositories.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with external vendors and agencies as necessary.
  • Assist in creating lead nurturing materials such as landing page copy, downloadable resources, and digital asset libraries as the position grows.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar discipline, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Highly organized, motivated, and attentive to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Prior experience with email marketing platforms, social media scheduling tools, CRM concepts, marketing automation, event coordination, and a portfolio of design or content projects is desirable but not mandatory.
