About the Role
As a Marketing Assistant at FISHBOWL, you will contribute significantly to accelerating the brand's growth and maintaining consistency while it expands throughout Australia. Your main focus will be coordinating and aiding the implementation of marketing campaigns to ensure every customer interaction remains aligned with our brand values, exhibiting clarity and cohesion.
Key Duties
- Assist in planning and executing integrated brand and product marketing campaigns across various platforms including in-store signage, digital media, email communications, PR, and influencer partnerships, ensuring deadlines and asset delivery are met promptly.
- Participate actively in brand activations, new store launches, and events, including occasional travel and on-site engagements, offering a hands-on experience beyond desk tasks.
- Create engaging content such as storytelling, humorous posts, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and culturally relevant material tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, utilizing multimedia like videos and Reels.
- Help shape and sustain FISHBOWL's voice and presence across social media channels and emerging platforms.
- Develop and maintain authentic relationships with influencers, content creators, collaborators, and partners aligned with FISHBOWL’s brand ethos.
- Monitor key performance indicators of campaigns, produce ROI reports, and recommend optimization strategies for future initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison to coordinate effectively among Marketing, Creative, Digital, Operations teams, and external vendors.
- Manage brand guideline adherence to ensure uniform application of assets and messaging across locations and channels.
- Handle administrative tasks related to marketing budgets including invoice tracking, purchase order processing, and budget reconciliation for campaigns and activations.
- Oversee project management tools and documentation to maintain progress and meet campaign deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing coordination or campaign support, preferably within food and beverage or tech-driven consumer brand sectors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with experience managing multiple deadlines and engaging various stakeholders.
- Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to draft compelling copy and develop presentations.
- Basic knowledge of marketing channels such as social media, digital platforms, in-store marketing, influencer collaborations, and PR.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets to monitor and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach, thriving in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.
- Experience or familiarity with design and digital tools like Canva, Figma, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or equivalents is advantageous.
