Role overview
As a Mixer at FISHBOWL, you will represent the brand’s values while creating a welcoming experience for guests. Your day-to-day work will involve guiding customers through the menu and preparing fresh salads from scratch.
Experience and skills
The ideal candidate brings useful experience from food service, restaurants, or customer-facing roles, although this is preferred rather than mandatory. Strong communication, a collaborative attitude, a positive mindset, confidence in a busy environment, the ability to learn quickly, and a commitment to high standards are all important.
Key duties
You will work alongside other Mixers, Restaurant Supervisors, and the Restaurant Manager to deliver a great customer experience and produce high-quality bowls.
- Prepare fresh salads from scratch
- Provide excellent service to every customer, every time
- Use the POS system to process customer payments
- Build and retain knowledge of the evolving menu
- Maintain food quality, food safety, and sanitation standards each day

Interview process
- First, you will have a short pre-screen call with the recruitment team lasting around 10 to 15 minutes
- Next, you will complete an in-store trial with an operations leader for about 1 hour, where the team will assess your attention to detail, customer service approach, can-do attitude, and hygiene practices
- If successful, you will receive a job offer and move into onboarding
