About the Role
As a Mixer at FISHBOWL, you’ll represent the brand’s core values while creating great guest experiences. The role involves guiding customers through the menu and preparing fresh, wholesome salads from scratch.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will bring the following:
- Experience in food service, restaurants, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
You’ll work closely with other Mixers, Restaurant Supervisors, and the Restaurant Manager to deliver an excellent customer experience and prepare quality bowls. Core duties include:
- Preparing fresh salads and bowls from scratch.
- Providing consistently high-level customer service to every guest.
- Using the POS system to process customer purchases.
- Building and retaining knowledge of the evolving menu.
- Maintaining strict food quality, hygiene, and sanitation standards every day.
- Contributing positively to the team culture and workplace environment.

Interview Process
The hiring process includes the following stages:
- An initial screening call with the recruitment team lasting about 10 to 15 minutes.
- An in-store trial with an operations leader, where you’ll demonstrate attention to detail, customer service, a positive attitude, and good hygiene practices; this session lasts around 1 hour.
- If successful, you’ll receive an offer and proceed with onboarding.
