About the Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager position at Melbourne Girls Grammar School involves leading strategic initiatives within marketing, communications, and brand management. Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing and Community Engagement, the role focuses on boosting enrolments, increasing community involvement, and elevating the school's brand presence across diverse channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the school's yearly marketing and communications strategies aligned with designated budgets.
- Create and manage integrated marketing campaigns to support enrolment expansion and engage the community effectively.
- Oversee creation of marketing assets such as publications, photography, videos, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all marketing and communications touchpoints, including website content, digital marketing efforts, SEO/SEM, and social media strategies.
- Produce engaging content for print, digital, and media platforms, such as articles, newsletters, and website updates.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness using analytics, customer insights, and market research data.
- Establish and nurture connections with key partners including the enrolment team, alumni, and external vendors.
- Lead, mentor, and support the Content and Social Media Coordinator to ensure cohesive team output.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
- Proven track record in conceptualizing and deploying successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Expertise in digital marketing, content development, brand stewardship, and audience engagement.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities demonstrated through high-quality publications and marketing collateral.
- Competent in managing websites, social media accounts, digital campaigns, and marketing tools.
- Strong analytical skills capable of converting data into strategic, actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management competencies.
- Experience handling external suppliers, media agencies, and budgeting processes.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
