About the Role

If you have a passion for baking and experience as a trained baker or working in a bakery or professional kitchen, this is an opportunity worth exploring. As a Market Street Baker, you will be the face of the fresh bakery section in store, responsible for delivering top-quality products and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are confident in the availability of fresh bakery items.
• Maintain visually appealing, fresh, and quality food displays throughout the day to encourage sales.
• Prepare bakery goods following company specifications, operating equipment such as provers, ovens, and mixers for products like bread, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited pastries.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to remove obstacles and create meaningful moments for customers, showcasing traditional baking skills and fresh products.

Who You Are

• Friendly and supportive, enjoys meeting new people and going the extra mile for customers.
• Energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Proactive in resolving customer queries using your own initiative.
• Competent at handling bakery equipment while upholding high health and safety standards.
• Experienced in mixing and shaping dough to create bakery products.
