What you'll do

As a Market Development Representative (MDR), your primary role will be to generate qualified opportunities that advance through the sales pipeline, ultimately driving new revenue and expanding our presence in the EMEA region. This is an individual contributor position reporting to the Manager, MDR.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate new business prospects and pipeline within a designated territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory management and outbound prospecting plans.
  • Engage in multi-channel outbound outreach to educate potential clients about Docusign's offerings and understand their business challenges.
  • Promote brand and product awareness in the UK/IE market through consistent email and call campaigns.
  • Arrange high-impact meetings between promising prospects and Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate prospect data within the CRM system.
  • Employ a balanced approach to cold calling, relationship building, sales process management, and appointment setting.
Job Designation

This is a Hybrid role, requiring employees to split their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is mandatory, with a minimum expectation of two days per week in the office, though this may vary by team. Docusign assigns job designations (In Office, Hybrid, or Remote) based on the role and business needs, and these are subject to change as permitted by local law. Preferred designations are not guaranteed when moving between positions within the company.

What you bringBasic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Demonstrated experience with sales cycles and solution-selling methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Google Workspace, and other essential business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A proven history of success in an outbound sales or business development capacity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, delivered with confidence and courtesy.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Experience with AI-powered sales, research, and productivity tools such as Gong, LinkedIn, Glean, Gemini, and Notebook LM.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • The capacity to rapidly learn and integrate new technologies within a dynamic, AI-driven environment.
