Overview
Orbital Critical Systems, part of Grupo CAF, is a frontrunner in delivering safety-critical software solutions for aerospace, defense, and transport sectors. We are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineers to join our on-site team in Hamburg, Germany, to work directly on Airbus cabin assembly and industrialization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and streamline cabin assembly and manufacturing workflows across several manufacturing plants
- Develop production methodologies, select appropriate tools, and oversee implementation processes
- Convert engineering designs into practical production documentation and work instructions
- Assist production personnel and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges related to quality, design, and logistics
- Maintain process documentation and conduct analysis to foster continuous improvements
- Provide consultation to design teams regarding manufacturability and construction documentation
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations, industrialization, production engineering, or comparable fields
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing, with prior Airbus experience considered highly advantageous
- Strong analytical abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving, including knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- English language proficiency at C1 level (mandatory)
- German language proficiency at C1 level (preferred)
