Role Overview

The position involves designing and executing policies and strategies to boost volunteerism for national defence, contributing to the overall mission of strengthening Singapore's defence commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create structured plans and frameworks that guide volunteer partnerships and engagement within the Singapore Defence Volunteer Network.
• Motivate volunteers to actively support and promote Singapore's security and success.
• Collaborate extensively with stakeholders and partners across Ministry of Defence and SAF units along with private, public, and people sectors to align policies and engagement efforts.
• Maintain ongoing interest and confidence in volunteer initiatives without compromising strategic long-term objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Preferred educational background in Mass Communication, Arts, or Social Sciences.
• Proficient command of spoken and written English.
• Skilled in strategic planning, effective networking, and stakeholder engagement.
• Possess strong interpersonal abilities with a professional, attentive, and courteous manner.
• Capable of engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Can work autonomously as well as collaboratively within teams.
• Innovative and receptive to challenges, able to perform efficiently under pressure.
• Competent at juggling multiple tasks and meeting stringent deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Open to candidates with no prior experience.
