Position Overview
The Social Media Manager for e.l.f. SKIN will design and execute social media strategies that boost brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. The role requires strong skincare and beauty knowledge, trend monitoring, and the ability to set platform-specific objectives and measure impact. Adaptability, enthusiasm, and resilience are key characteristics for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored social media strategies across relevant channels.
- Establish and monitor critical social media KPIs to secure leading positions on platforms.
- Continuously track and analyze the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize presence.
- Create daily skincare-centered social content with strong copywriting skills for captions.
- Oversee daily posting schedules across all social accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Ecommerce, Digital, Sales, Creative, and Innovation teams to align on brand initiatives.
- Lead the development of effective social media briefs.
- Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media performance reports.
- Support content creation efforts including video editing and photo cropping tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Social Media Marketing or equivalent role preferred.
- Must reside in the Los Angeles area.
- Background in skincare and/or beauty sectors is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of social platforms with up-to-date awareness of industry trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to work quality.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively with teams.
- Strong awareness of entertainment, cultural trends, and audience engagement strategies including algorithm insights.
- Proactive self-starter with a hands-on mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary, an annual performance bonus program enabling up to 200% of target, equity awards, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement plans, gender-neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. Pay scales depend on multiple factors including experience and location. The company reserves the right to modify compensation components.
