Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, performance evaluation, and management reporting across our hospitality assets. This role provides an independent and forward-looking financial perspective, challenges operational assumptions, identifies risks and opportunities, and presents clear recommendations to senior management and the Board. A key focus will be advancing FP&A processes through AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance efficiency, precision, and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and a five-year strategic planning process in partnership with the Corporate Director of Finance.
• Evaluate and challenge financial forecasts covering revenues, EBITDA, cash flow, payroll, operating costs, and capital expenditures.
• Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to aid strategic decisions.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and standardize financial reporting submissions.
• Lead monthly financial performance assessments of hospitality properties, diagnosing drivers behind variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Recommend actionable plans to enhance EBITDA, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and present clear monthly financial reports for Executive Management and Boards, including narratives for budget and group-level reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Asset Management, hotel operations, general management, and finance directors to provide independent financial insights and recommendations.
• Support capital allocation decisions and strategic initiatives with comprehensive financial analyses and business case evaluations.
• Supervise CAPEX monitoring and challenge expenditure timing, costs, prioritization, and return expectations using financial metrics like IRR and payback periods.
• Champion AI-driven transformation of FP&A by identifying and implementing AI applications in forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and management commentary.
• Automate routine consolidation and reporting tasks while developing AI-powered dashboards and decision tools that enhance financial insight timeliness and quality.
• Implement controls to ensure AI-derived outputs are accurate, understandable, and overseen by humans.
• Foster AI capabilities within the finance team and encourage adoption among operational users.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional finance certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
• 7 to 10 years of pertinent experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Proven leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, analytics, and executive communication.
• Practical experience using AI within finance or FP&A workflows.
• Exposure to automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Background in hospitality, real estate, or asset management is preferred.
• Knowledge of USALI standards and the GCC hospitality market is an advantage.
