About the role

In this position, you will lead and coordinate corporate communications for the sales organization, helping shape messaging that supports Gartner’s business direction while also strengthening associate engagement. You will report to the MVP, Sales Communications and operate as a versatile communications partner across three business units, with additional support for global corporate communications efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the MVP, Sales Communications to roll out global sales communication plans and programs that support business priorities, change initiatives, and culture-focused efforts.
  • Coordinate with a global network to make sure communications are delivered smoothly across all three sales-related business units.
  • Create and support high-visibility communication pieces such as newsletters, roundtables, executive talking points, town halls, intranet updates, leadership meeting materials, videos, and organization-wide announcements.
  • Assist with change communications and associate engagement activities, using Gartner’s established practices to drive alignment and action.
  • Act as the regional representative in the global crisis communications team, requiring adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Develop strong partnerships with senior leaders and communication stakeholders across business units so messaging remains aligned across the enterprise.
  • Review communication channel performance using data and analytics, and use those insights to improve strategy and execution.
  • Collaborate with the India Center of Excellence and other global teams on important deliverables, ensuring strong design quality, project coordination, and multimedia output.

What the role requires

  • 3 to 5 years of corporate communications experience, with a demonstrated record of leading strategic communication programs that influence business results.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leaders and support complex change management and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities, with the skill to turn complex information into clear and actionable messaging.
  • Hands-on experience with crisis communications.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to earn and maintain trust at executive level.
  • Good analytical ability and experience using data to improve communication effectiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, along with a history of innovation, strong execution, and customer-focused service.
