Job description
Role overview
This role is for a motivated Key Holder who will partner with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to keep the store running smoothly and efficiently. The position involves setting the tone for the sales team through strong coaching, mentoring, and hands-on leadership, while consistently delivering warm, genuine, and tailored customer service that helps the store meet its sales and service goals.
Key duties
In addition to leading by example on the sales floor, the Key Holder will rely on retail judgment and cash-handling experience to complete essential opening and closing routines, including cash reconciliation at the start and end of the day. The role also includes responsibility for opening and shutting the store on a rotating schedule.
What this opportunity offers
This position is well suited to an ambitious self-starter with retail background who is seeking a first step into supervision. It offers the chance to build a long-term career with a recognized prestige beauty company, supported by a culture that values different perspectives and inclusive teams, along with strong training, development, and a competitive pay and benefits package.
Qualifications
Candidates should have solid retail experience, ideally in cosmetics, and should be able to deliver authentic, personalized, and inspiring customer service. Experience in retail operations such as cash reconciliation and store opening/closing is helpful but not mandatory. Prior supervision experience, including coaching or mentoring others to reach sales and customer service targets, is also desirable. The job requires flexibility to work retail schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a busy environment. Experience using retail point-of-sale software is needed. Applicants must be able to show proof that they have the legal right to live and work in Canada if selected for interview.
