Job Overview

As a Logistics Sales and Operations Executive at PBL Transport Corporation Private Limited located in Raipur Karchuliyan, Madhya Pradesh, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition from assigned leads, managing responses to B2B customer inquiries including quotations, and fostering enduring relationships with current clients to encourage repeat transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Rapidly acquire knowledge or leverage existing understanding of the road transportation sector involving trailers and trucks.
• Interact with customers, brokers, and fleet owners to secure competitive transportation rates from the market.
• Quote and negotiate FTL (Full Truck Load) rates with customers ensuring optimal profit margins.
• Expand PBL's business substantially within the territory allocated.
• Conduct field visits for customer engagement, goods surveys, and route assessments as part of extensive fieldwork duties.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers and vendors, gather and provide feedback on contract performance, and nurture long-term professional relationships.
• Collaborate with Traffic Executives to monitor timely deliveries and service quality, retaining full accountability for customer and vendor satisfaction.
• Utilize company technology tools including computers, mobile devices, and ERP systems to document and manage all activities efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must have relevant experience or educational background in this field.
• Strong communication abilities in English, Hindi, and local regional languages.
• Proven sales and negotiation expertise.
• Experience in vendor management is essential.
• Competence in using MS Office, internet applications, ERP software, GPS systems, and adaptability to company technology tools; passing an MS Office proficiency test is mandatory if shortlisted.
• High integrity and ethical standards.
• Willingness to perform extensive fieldwork as required by the role.
