Overview
This contract opportunity calls for seasoned pro bono legal practitioners to critically evaluate and provide methodical feedback on legal analyses generated by models, focusing on civil legal services and enhancing access to justice. The role is remote and flexible, compensating at $170 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess model-produced legal analyses in areas such as housing, family law, consumer issues, foreclosure, and debt practices.
- Judge the precision of legal reasoning, procedural advice, and access-to-justice aspects presented by the models.
- Detect inaccuracies and missing elements in civil legal analyses generated by large language models.
- Provide lucid and organized written feedback to support improvements in model quality.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive civil law practice experience covering multiple domains including housing, family, or consumer law.
- Current admission to practice law in the U.S. with Juris Doctor qualification.
- Demonstrated involvement in managing or participating in pro bono initiatives, legal clinics, or coordinating volunteer attorneys.
- Proficient in advanced legal writing and analytical review at a professional standard.
- Experience with legal technologies or use of AI-driven legal research tools is beneficial.
