About the role
Dexory is using data intelligence to modernize warehousing and logistics. The company is hiring a US-based Legal Counsel to cover commercial contracts in North America and support the broader in-house legal function.
This is a permanent, hands-on generalist role within a small legal team led by the General Counsel and supported by a Legal & Compliance Assistant. You will work directly with customers, suppliers, Procurement, IT and other internal stakeholders, helping the business move quickly while managing legal and compliance risk. The role is remote within the US, but you must already have the right to work in the US without sponsorship.
Key responsibilities
- Take the lead on drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer and supplier agreements for the US and North America.
- Act as the main negotiator in commercial discussions with external counterparties.
- Partner with Procurement, IT and other teams to assess supplier agreements, review contractual terms, evaluate risk and obtain the needed approvals.
- Support the General Counsel in making sure Dexory’s activities comply with applicable laws and regulations across its operating markets.
- Help build, roll out and maintain compliance programmes and training across the business.
- Assist with disputes, litigation and other legal proceedings involving the company.
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and an active, in-good-standing license with at least one US state bar.
- Demonstrated experience handling commercial contract negotiation and lifecycle management.
- Background working as an in-house lawyer, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give practical guidance and influence non-legal stakeholders.
- Ability to juggle several priorities at once and stay effective in a fast-moving, high-growth setting.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of US employment law, including right-to-work verification and visa sponsorship processes.
- Experience with employment law issues across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
