Legal Counsel US

About the role

Dexory is building data-led solutions that are reshaping warehousing and logistics. The company is hiring a Legal Counsel to support its growing US business, with a primary focus on commercial contracts and broader in-house legal matters.

This is a permanent remote position for candidates located in the US who already have the legal right to work without sponsorship. You will be part of a small legal team alongside the General Counsel and a Legal & Compliance Assistant, and you will take a lead role in day-to-day commercial negotiations with customers and suppliers.

The role is broad, practical and fast-moving. It suits someone who enjoys working across several legal and compliance priorities, partnering closely with business teams, and using strong commercial judgement in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review and negotiation of customer and supplier contracts for the US and North America, including acting as the main negotiator in commercial discussions.
• Support Procurement, IT and other internal teams by reviewing supplier agreements, assessing contractual risk, advising on terms and obtaining the approvals needed to move matters forward.
• Help the General Counsel ensure the company’s activities remain aligned with applicable laws and regulations across its operating regions.
• Contribute to the creation, rollout and maintenance of compliance programmes and internal training initiatives.
• Assist with disputes, litigation and other legal proceedings involving the business.

Required background

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, with active and good-standing membership in at least one US state bar.
• Proven experience handling commercial contracts and negotiations.
• Prior in-house legal experience, preferably in a technology or SaaS organisation.
• Clear, practical communication skills with the ability to influence non-legal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.

Preferred experience

• Knowledge of US employment law, including right-to-work checks and visa sponsorship processes.
• Exposure to employment law matters across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
