Role Overview
The company is looking for a seasoned Legal Advisor to deliver extensive legal guidance ensuring alignment with all UAE regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will excel in corporate and commercial law, possess superior contract drafting and negotiation abilities, and provide actionable legal counsel that aligns with business needs.
Key Duties
- Draft, scrutinize, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Offer legal guidance on corporate, commercial, labor, and general business issues.
- Manage legal disputes, claims, official legal notifications, and coordinate litigation efforts alongside external attorneys.
- Ensure adherence to UAE legal requirements, internal policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide timely legal opinions and practical recommendations to assist management decision-making.
- Stay informed on UAE legislative changes and evaluate their effects on company activities.
- Support corporate governance, maintaining legal documentation and regulatory submissions.
- Identify potential legal risks related to business operations and strategize mitigation measures.
- Handle all legal affairs and sensitive data with utmost confidentiality.
Candidate Profile
- Holding a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); advanced degrees or specialized legal certifications considered advantageous.
- Possessing at least 7 years of legal work experience within the UAE, particularly in corporate and commercial domains.
- Demonstrated proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate contracts and legal instruments.
- Robust understanding of UAE legal frameworks, corporate governance, compliance, and commerce law.
- Strong analytical mindset, negotiation capability, clear communication skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
- Self-driven with the ability to handle multiple tasks while safeguarding confidentiality.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages, speaking and writing.
