Role Scope

The successful candidate will be part of the course management team, engaging with industry partners to establish collaborations, expand internship opportunities, promote continuing education and training programs, conduct outreach, and monitor industry trends.

Key Teaching Areas

  • Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
  • Computer Aided Machining (CAM)
  • Machining Processes such as milling, turning, and drilling
  • Foundations of Sustainability Reporting and Strategies

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance for diploma courses and general school functions
  • Partner with industry to enrich student experiences through site visits, projects, internship, and overseas programs
  • Create and deliver modules for relevant full-time and part-time courses aimed at students, staff, and industry professionals
  • Motivate and guide students via effective learning methods
  • Offer personal tutoring and pastoral support to students
  • Coordinate outreach initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant experience in Computer Aided Drafting, Computer Aided Machining, Machining Processes, and Sustainability Development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Strong passion for education with dedication to teaching and mentoring young adults and adult learners
  • Academic credentials in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related fields with specialization in CAD/CAM and machining processes
