Job description

Role Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a seasoned organisational development expert with a strong affinity for leadership, talent cultivation, and fostering a positive culture to join as Leadership, Talent and Organisational Development (OD) Lead. This key strategic position will spearhead the Trust’s efforts in developing leadership capabilities, nurturing an inclusive, high-performance environment, and advancing the People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and steer the strategic direction for leadership, talent, and organisational development, ensuring synergy with the People Strategy, NHS goals, and organisational aims.
  • Offer specialised consultancy to Executive Directors, senior managers, and divisional teams on leadership growth, organisational effectiveness, talent management, employee engagement, and cultural transformation.
  • Design, implement, and assess leadership and management development programs, succession planning, talent initiatives, coaching and mentoring schemes, psychometric evaluations, and organisation-wide OD projects.
  • Collaborate extensively across the Trust and wider system to utilise workforce analytics and organisational insights to pinpoint priorities, assess program impact, and promote sustainable enhancements in performance, inclusion, and employee experience.
