About the role
We are looking for a Junior Group Accountant to join the Group Accounting and Consolidation team in Berlin. In this role, you will help prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS for the finance department. The team supports management with strategic and financial decisions. The company is a leading digital automotive platform in Europe, transforming the used-car market through its brands Autohero, wirkaufendeinauto.de, and AUTO1.com.
What you will do
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, including the analysis of financial data.
- Manage and monitor period-end closing activities in Oracle.
- Assist subsidiaries with the recording and review of IFRS 16 lease contracts.
- Contribute to the improvement and further development of internal accounting processes.
- Grow within the team and take on a variety of responsibilities across different accounting areas.

Requirements
- A completed vocational training in finance or accounting, or a completed degree with a focus on finance and accounting.
- Initial hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong technical understanding and confident use of Google Workspace and MS Office, especially Excel.
- A structured, careful, independent working style and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent spoken and written German and English skills.
- A collaborative mindset and interest in continuous learning and development.
