Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Designer/Social Media Content Creator to join our expanding creative team in New York City. This entry-level role involves collaborating closely with social content teams across multiple brands to design vibrant, compelling content primarily for social media channels. Candidates should be passionate about digital design and content creation and adept at working within established brand guidelines while adapting to various styles. Skills in photography, videography, video editing, photo retouching, and collage are essential; familiarity with motion design adds value. A working knowledge of AI image generation as part of the design workflow is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, produce, and design social content, advertisements, and other creative assets.
• Source and share creative and design inspiration to enhance project quality.
• Create artwork adaptable to social platforms and additional outputs such as websites, presentations, and print materials.
• Present creative work effectively to team members and clients.
• Manage time efficiently to handle multiple requests and meet firm deadlines.
• Engage collaboratively with creatives and strategists in brainstorming sessions and iterative feedback processes.
• Adhere strictly to brand guidelines and design systems throughout all projects.

Candidate Qualifications

• Between zero to two years of professional experience in design roles.
• A strong portfolio showcasing bold social media content and diverse design applications.
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of social media platform best practices, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Awareness of current design trends relevant to digital content.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Skills in motion design and illustration are advantageous but not required.
• Familiarity with AI-based image generation and incorporating it in creative workflows is a plus.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Work Arrangement

This position requires hybrid work with at least two days per week onsite in the New York City office or at content shoot locations. Candidates should reside within commuting distance of NYC.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $45,000 to $50,000 annually.
