About the Role
We seek a dynamic Junior Graphic Designer to join our Teamsport Apparel division at PUMA in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. Key Responsibilities
- Gather and provide up-to-date market intelligence under the Teamhead's guidance to inform design trends and developments.
- Enhance graphic design quality to strengthen brand positioning and generate customer demand.
- Incorporate product and technical advancements into design processes.
- Assist the Senior Designer with innovative product graphic executions to foster continuous design innovation and meet targets.
- Evaluate global brand positioning guidelines to propose new product ideas and adjust guidelines as needed.
- Introduce creative product design concepts aligning with specific strategies.
- Identify functional requirements and leverage IT systems to gain competitive advantages.
- Analyze opportunities for design support that improve business processes and customer engagement.
- Help formulate annual product design plans and implement innovative ideas to achieve business goals for the product category.
- Manage projects according to the Puma development calendar from inception through follow-up.
- Ensure design activities utilize organizational learning across Puma globally.
- Contribute to protecting PUMA's intellectual property effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Professional graphic design experience, preferably within sports or fashion industries.
- Strong knowledge of sports performance, fabrics, and emerging industry technologies.
- Excellent sense for graphics, color usage, and creative expression.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and MS Office (particularly PowerPoint); knowledge of 3D software is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good presentation abilities and a collaborative team player attitude.
