Role overview
This position is part of a global organisation focused on flavours, fragrances, food ingredients, and health and biosciences. The Scent team combines creativity, science, consumer insight, and a thoughtful approach to fragrance development to create products that influence everyday life.
The role is based onsite in Chin Bee, Singapore. It is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on production work, values teamwork, and wants to contribute to a customer-focused environment with meaningful impact.
Key duties
- Assist with day-to-day production activities, including cleaning basic equipment and handling materials.
- Support tank charging, blending, and in-process verification tasks while working under guidance.
- Use HMI interfaces and production machinery after receiving the required training.
- Carry out packing work and transport materials with PIVs; training and licensing will be provided for this.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures to support safe, efficient, and high-quality output.
- Keep the work area tidy and help with basic equipment upkeep, including 6S and autonomous maintenance practices.
- Participate in improvement initiatives and complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate profile
Applicants should have at least a Secondary, ITE, or Diploma qualification in Chemical Engineering or a related field. A basic grasp of GMP manufacturing and common process instrumentation is helpful. Good computer literacy in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred, and familiarity with SAP is a plus.
You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, communicate in basic English, and be physically capable of lifting and handling loads of up to 25 kg on your own.
Preferred strengths
People who are keen to learn, grow, and solve problems will stand out. Experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or R&D environments, along with data analysis skills, would be an added advantage. A forklift or reach truck licence is also beneficial.

Additional information
This is a full-time onsite role. The job involves physical handling of materials and participation in operational and maintenance-related activities. Training will be provided for some equipment and material-handling tasks.
