Job Overview and Responsibilities
- Execute polishing processes by following technical guidelines, working cycles, and established procedures.
- Perform all polishing tasks up to the finishing phase according to high-quality standards.
- Proper handling and usage of technical and manual tools to support polishing, respecting properties of materials like gemstones, diamonds, gold, silver, platinum, stainless steel, and alternative materials.
- Conduct self-quality inspections in line with internal quality control procedures.
- Operate supporting machinery, including polishing equipment, ultrasonic cleaners, rhodium plating devices, laser welders, and laser engravers.
- Meet productivity goals for quantity, lead times, and quality while demonstrating flexibility to accommodate business requirements.
- Manage waste material according to recovery processes for precious materials.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles, maintaining workplace organization through 5S methodologies.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and security standards and protocols.
- Assist with inventory management activities.
- Contribute to business projects related to repair and rework operations.
- Support company-wide training initiatives.
- Travel internationally up to approximately 10% annually as part of job duties.
Candidate Requirements
- Entry-level experience or training in goldsmithing.
- Familiarity with technical product specifications, polishing techniques, and use of relevant tools.
- Basic understanding of the chemical properties of materials involved in the polishing process.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Awareness of international standards and regulations such as the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and Code of Conduct (CoC).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); SAP experience is an advantage.
- Power BI skills are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Completion of tertiary education is necessary.

Additional Information
Candidates must be authorized to work a full 40-hour week without restrictions. Working hours commence from 7 AM Irish Time, Monday through Friday. This role requires occasional international travel of about 10% annually.
