About the Role
A prominent Infrastructure Private Capital Fund is expanding its investment team with openings for an Associate or Vice President based in New York or Miami. The firm specializes in investments within the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) and Renewables sectors, known for a robust history of consistent performance and strong fund growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage deal transactions throughout the entire cycle, including origination, execution, and portfolio management.
- Perform in-depth financial assessments, commercial due diligence, valuation studies, and structure investment deals.
- Compile comprehensive investment committee documentation and convey investment proposals to senior leadership.
- Forge and sustain relationships with management teams, advisors, lenders, and stakeholders within the infrastructure field.
- Assist in overseeing portfolio companies, engaging with boards, and driving strategic value enhancement initiatives.
- Guide and nurture junior investment staff, encouraging a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
- Contribute insights to firm-wide investment strategies, sector research, and thematic planning focused on infrastructure and renewables.
Candidate Requirements
- At least three years of professional experience in private equity, private credit, or investment banking from notable financial institutions.
- Practical transaction experience specifically within the Power, Utilities & Infrastructure and/or Renewables sectors.
- Advanced skills in financial modelling, analytics, and investment deal execution.
- Strong leadership qualities coupled with effective stakeholder relationship management abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of traditional and/or emerging digital infrastructure markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational capabilities.
- Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable with the ability to work independently or collaborate effectively within teams.
