Collection Officer

Role Overview

The Collection Officer position involves actively visiting customers to recover overdue loan or EMI payments, consistently meeting collection objectives. This role demands maintaining comprehensive records of collection activities and effective communication with both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct customer visits to collect outstanding loan or EMI payments.
• Engage delinquent customers to resolve pending collection matters promptly.
• Meet or exceed established daily and monthly collection targets.
• Log collection statuses, document customer feedback, and prepare detailed visit reports using the designated system.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of all collection-related activities.
• Develop and sustain professional relationships with customers to facilitate recovery.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, banking regulations, and compliance standards during all field operations.
• Collaborate closely with branch officials and team leaders to report on collection progress and challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification of 12th grade pass; graduation may be preferred depending on location.
• At least one year of experience in field collections or recovery roles.
• Possession of a valid two-wheeler driving license along with access to a personal bike.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively for field visits.
