About the Role

An elite boutique investment bank headquartered in New York is recruiting for Associate and Vice President positions within its Power, Infrastructure & Renewables division. This distinguished team leads prominent M&A and strategic advisory transactions throughout the Americas, leveraging deep institutional ties to maintain a steady pipeline of high-profile deals. Candidates will play a crucial role in originating and managing sophisticated transactions in this expanding sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sourcing and development of advisory mandates, focusing primarily on M&A deals in the power, infrastructure and renewable energy industries.
  • Lead the management and execution of live transactions by overseeing multiple workstreams from start to finish.
  • Maintain and cultivate strong client relationships acting as the main liaison for internal teams and external parties during transactions.
  • Prepare and critically evaluate financial models, valuation analyses, marketing materials, and presentations for clients.
  • Mentor junior colleagues by guiding them through transaction processes and supporting their professional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with senior bankers to ensure superior client service and identify future business prospects.

Candidate Requirements

  • For Associate level: a minimum of 3 years' investment banking or M&A experience without an MBA, or at least 1 year of relevant experience post-MBA.
  • Professional background from a leading investment bank or premier financial institution.
  • A bachelor's degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven track record of transactions within the Power, Infrastructure and Renewables sectors.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while engaging effectively in a global team setting.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client management capabilities.
