Overview
Join Barclays as an Investment Banking Analyst focused on the Technology sector, where you will contribute to designing innovative financial solutions aligned with our clients’ business objectives. This role involves handling diverse asset classes and assignments while providing critical support to the Technology team. Effective communication with both internal teams and external clients is essential to deliver prompt and exceptional customer service.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients by understanding their operations, financial targets, and sector trends.
- Identify opportunities to expand Barclays' client base and generate new revenue streams.
- Conduct detailed financial assessments through analysis of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and debt structures.
- Support processes related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPOs), and secondary equity offerings.
- Work alongside legal and compliance teams to prepare and review transaction-related documentation, such as contracts and agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Capital Markets, Sales and Trading, Research, and Risk Management to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Promote initiatives around Energy Transition and Sustainability by engaging clients regarding climate strategies and sustainable financing options where relevant.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling and evaluation techniques.
- Strong grasp of corporate finance principles and investment banking best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities and presentation skills.

- This position is based in San Francisco, California.
- It is regulated under FINRA guidelines.
- Salary range: $110000 to $135000 annually, representing base pay exclusive of other compensation or benefits.
