Opportunity
This role sits within a busy private markets investment team that concentrates on private equity secondaries and co-investments. As an Investment Analyst, you will contribute to the assessment, execution, and ongoing oversight of investments made alongside established private equity sponsors and institutional capital providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess secondaries and co-investment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial and valuation models.
- Draft investment memoranda and presentation materials.
- Assist with transaction execution activities.
- Keep deal pipeline records accurate and up to date.
- Track portfolio company and fund performance.
- Work with fund managers and private equity sponsors.
- Monitor developments and trends across the private equity market.
Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline is required.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant full-time experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a comparable field.
- Strong capability in analysis and financial modelling.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CFA, CAIA, or a similar qualification, or active progress toward one, is considered an advantage.
