About the role

16VC is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on backing companies in AI, SaaS, fintech, deep tech, and other new technologies across global markets. The firm has also launched a remote Founder Fellowship connecting 80+ startups with 150+ founders worldwide, and is now expanding its core investing team.

This hiring is for an Investor who can strengthen sourcing, research, and deal evaluation efforts while helping establish the operating foundations of the platform.

What you will do

• Find promising founders, operators, investors, and startup communities, and develop lasting relationships across international ecosystems
• Assess and screen early-stage investment opportunities
• Build investment viewpoints, carry out market research, and compare competitors
• Draft investment memos and assist with due diligence work
• Create and improve sourcing channels, tools, and internal investing workflows
• Represent 16VC at worldwide events and in startup circles

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in venture capital, accelerators, angel networks, or a similar investing role
• Good working knowledge of startups and venture ecosystems
• Strong ability in research, analysis, and business writing
• Ability to build and maintain a strong professional network
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage setting
• Open to global travel
