Role Overview

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and goal-oriented International Recruitment Officer to enhance enrollment growth from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, GCC countries, and the Pacific region. Reporting to the Senior Regional Recruitment Manager, you will be instrumental in managing agent relationships, responding to student inquiries, coordinating applications, and driving market development efforts. This permanent full-time position is located in Auckland across our central business district and New Lynn campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating leads through walk-ins, emails, phone calls, and CRM platforms
  • Expanding recruitment opportunities via agents, partners, and direct engagement with prospective students
  • Conducting consultations to guide prospective students accurately
  • Participating in education fairs, expos, seminars, and other recruitment events
  • Providing clear and precise program and admissions information
  • Supporting international students throughout their enrollment experience
  • Involving in orientation and induction initiatives
  • Collaborating closely with academic and student support teams
  • Ensuring compliance with the Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of students and agents in CRM systems
  • Preparing detailed recruitment reports
  • Completing all required documentation and reporting in a timely and accurate manner

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in international student recruitment, education sales, or consultancy
  • Familiarity with the New Zealand tertiary education environment
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Proficient verbal and written communication in English
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Language skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is essential; proficiency in an additional South Indian or GCC language is advantageous
  • Candidates with multilingual fluency and established networks in target regions are highly preferred
