Role Overview
This 6-month contract opportunity is for an Internal Communications Specialist supporting a banking environment in Singapore. The role focuses on shaping clear, engaging communications for both internal and external audiences while helping protect and strengthen the organisation’s reputation.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver engagement initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders, including speeches, opinion pieces, internal updates, and social media material.
- Create and roll out two-way communication efforts and content that keeps teams aligned with strategic goals and priority themes.
- Produce internal stories, campaigns, and news content.
- Support media relations and paid media initiatives by developing consistent narratives, nurturing media contacts, and generating story ideas.
- Handle crisis communications by helping safeguard the bank’s reputation during sensitive situations and by preparing crisis response plans and monitoring media and social channels proactively.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in corporate communications within banking, financial services, or insurance.
- Hands-on experience in writing and developing content.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
