Role Overview
This interim position centers on delivering legal services in derivatives and structured products. The lawyer will handle transaction execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and manage risk exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive legal advice and support for derivatives and structured products transactions.
- Draft and thoroughly review various legal agreements and related documents, ensuring a high standard in initial drafts.
- Evaluate capacity and authority requirements for transactions, focusing on compliance and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to assist in successful transaction closings and ongoing projects.
- Monitor evolving industry and regulatory changes relevant to derivatives and structured products to keep practices current.
Candidate Profile
- 4 to 5 years of post-qualification legal experience with a focus on derivatives and structured products.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing top-quality first-draft legal documents.
- Sophisticated awareness of capacity, authority, and risk issues arising in transactional work.
- Keen analytical ability and strong skills in legal problem-solving.
