Initial Medical Service Driver

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Relief Service Driver to operate across Ireland. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 39 hours per week, with an annual salary of €29,700 paid monthly. The driver will be responsible for collecting and disposing of various hazardous waste items from multiple customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit various customer facilities to service hazardous waste units such as sharps bins, poisons, and dental waste.
• Ensure the vehicle is maintained in a safe condition and drive attentively following company safety guidelines.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a full Irish driving license held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks including loading and unloading bins and units manually.
• ADR certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt to flexible working patterns to meet business needs.
• Demonstrates initiative and a positive, proactive attitude.
• May need to successfully complete a DBS check depending on the assignment.
