About Lifesteps
Lifesteps is a well-established human service organization operating in Indiana, PA, with more than a century of experience in providing compassionate care. We are looking for dedicated caregivers to support adults with disabilities in residential home environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist adults with disabilities in daily living tasks such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and attending medical appointments.
- Perform household duties including cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, and supply management.
- Support personal care activities like grooming and administering medication.
- Help individuals work toward their personal goals and engage in community outings and recreational activities.
Work Schedule
We provide steady full-time hours with evening shifts from 3 pm to 11 pm. Part-time schedules with flexible hours are also available for those seeking additional work.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 200 pounds with assistance.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
- Must be able to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI background clearances.
- No prior experience is necessary; paid training is available. Experience as a home health aide, nurse's aide, or direct support professional is welcome.
