Role Overview
Join Databricks as an Enterprise Account Executive to support the rapid growth across APJ by driving sales focused on the Philippines market. This Singapore-based position reports to the Enterprise Director of Sales and focuses on expanding Databricks' footprint in enterprise accounts through innovative solutions and customer vision expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present a comprehensive territory plan within the initial 90 days.
- Engage with high-level stakeholders including CIOs, IT executives, line-of-business leaders, and program managers.
- Drive new account acquisition while maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
- Manage sales cycles of varying complexity, securing quick wins as well as closing long-term deals.
- Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue goals consistently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in Salesforce including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecast data.
- Adopt a solution-selling approach that delivers customer value.
- Advocate for Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform leveraging Apache Spark technology.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction across all accounts.
- Set priorities effectively to allocate resources appropriately.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience within early-stage companies with success navigating their environments.
- Proven background in field sales, particularly in big data, cloud computing, and SaaS sectors.
- Established relationships with key decision-makers such as CIOs and program managers.
- Strong ability to clearly articulate complex cloud technologies.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in enterprise sales, consistently exceeding sales quotas and covering relevant industries and accounts.
- Track record of closing new business alongside managing existing customers.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark and big data technologies preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree plus over 5 years selling SaaS solutions to enterprise clients in the Philippines.
