About the Role
A leading multi-strategy global hedge fund is seeking to appoint its inaugural Human Capital Business Partner based in New York. Reporting directly to the Chief HR Officer, this unique position involves becoming the pioneering US-based representative on the global HR team. The role offers high autonomy and visibility with significant influence on HR strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of the firm's people strategy and serve as the driving force behind HR initiatives throughout the full employee lifecycle at the New York office. This entails partnering closely with business leaders focusing on talent development, workforce planning, and executing governance and HR compliance frameworks to ensure alignment with business growth goals. Collaborating with the CHRO, the role includes shaping future HR strategies and managing cross-regional programs involving onboarding, recruiting, performance management, as well as innovation initiatives related to AI and automation projects.
