You will manage the full recruiting process and assist with several HR functions such as onboarding, employee recordkeeping, compliance, payroll coordination, benefits support, and HR reporting. This role requires efficiency and precision in a fast-paced government contracting atmosphere where quick recruiting, compliance, and communication are vital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for IT consulting and staff augmentation roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Advertise open positions, manage candidate pipelines, and source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Assess candidates for technical suitability, availability, salary expectations, work authorization, and client-specific requirements.
  • Support staffing needs for ongoing contracts, proposals, and client projects.
  • Collaborate with leadership and delivery teams to prepare staffing quotes, candidate submissions, and proposal staffing assistance.
  • Maintain accurate candidate, employee, and contractor records throughout the staffing lifecycle.
  • Handle daily HR administrative tasks supporting workforce management.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries from employees, contractors, candidates, and vendors.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, employee communications, and follow-up actions from management and employees.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding procedures, manage employee documentation, employment agreements, and termination paperwork.
  • Continuously refine HR processes, documentation, and overall employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, especially government contracting requirements.
  • Conduct and manage Form I-9 verifications and employment eligibility documents.
  • Liaise with legal advisors regarding H-1B visas, Green Cards, and other immigration-related matters for new and current staff.
  • Keep precise and confidential HR files, employee records, tracking of PTO/leave, and compliance documents.
  • Assist benefits administration, including health insurance, life insurance, and 401(k) plans.
  • Support Accounting in payroll-related tasks including documentation, compensation updates, benefits deductions, background checks, and related items.
  • Track and coordinate timesheets for employees and contractors with Finance to ensure timely payroll and invoicing.
  • Monitor purchase orders, remaining contract hours, and staffing data, alerting relevant parties as needed.
  • Maintain HRIS/HCM and internal systems with up-to-date HR, recruitment, and employee data.
  • Generate weekly HR and recruiting reports for company leadership.
  • Track opening statuses, candidate progress, onboarding, employee changes, timesheets, and compliance matters.
  • Act as key administrator and process owner for HR and recruitment systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or workforce operations.
  • Preferred experience recruiting IT, consulting, government contracting, or staff augmentation positions.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, employment documentation, onboarding processes, payroll coordination, and benefits management.
  • Familiarity with HRIS/HCM software, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, job boards, and recruitment workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities, candidates, and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally and discreetly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in IT staff augmentation or professional services recruitment.
  • Knowledge of government contracts, federal contractor regulations, or public-sector staffing.
  • Understanding of immigration processes including H-1B, Green Card applications, I-9 verification, background checks, and work authorization.
  • Experience preparing recruiting reports, staffing dashboards, or HR activity summaries.
  • Able to collaborate with senior leadership in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
